New Taipei City Children's Arts Festival

The New Taipei City Children's Arts Festival is a celebration held each summer for local children. Participants include a large number of arts troupes and the museums of New Taipei City. Each year the children are entertained with interactive art installations, innovative technology and art experience activities, and exciting performances. In addition to the use of art activities to stimulate children’s creativity and imagination, another key purpose of the event is to remind parents of the importance of spending time with their kids and creating beautiful memories together that will last a lifetime.

Of the festival’s myriad activities, by far the most beloved by both parents and kids is the annual parade. Moms, dads, and youngsters can show off their creativity by dressing up in costumes based on the theme of the event and joining in the fun of this lively, boisterous parade.
